Here is one of the best classic car shows of the year and its in Downtown Lakeland, a very beautiful city that hasen't been trashed YET. I have been going for years. There are also antique motorcycles and boats. Sir Stirling Moss will be there. The downtown area has classic cars from the 50's 60's and the cars around Lake Mirror are 20's, 30's etc. Very expensive stuff. Here is a web site for more details. Believe me, it is worth a drive for a great time and its FREE. I go to car shows all over the country and this is one of my favorites. Lakeland is between Orlando and Tampa off I-4. Get off and go DOWNTOWN. Its a beautiful city especially down by the lake. Plenty of places to eat and good prices. Go on Saturday morning, Friday is mostly for car owners.
BTW, when you go to their web site, make sure to look at the pictures from past events 2005, 2006, so you know just how fantastic the cars are. Lets hope for cool weather and no rain. You will love the people that attend, I feel right at home. Wear comfortable shoes and a hat would be advised.

I've passed thru Lakeland a few times. And each time I'd see several really sharp cars tooling around. Not knowing anything about the car shows, I just figured that the people of Lakeland really liked thier cars. DOH!
