They recently added two new servers Spud. So for the past couple of weeks, we've all had issues logging in from time to time. Aside from that I don't know what to say.

If you log in and then let it sit for too long without posting, say an hour or two, without posting, it may be timing out for you. In that case you'd just have to log in again.

At the top of every page is a link named FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). Have you checked that to see if your issue is covered?

WE HAD AN ARTICLE IN THE newsobserver.com in raleith,n.c. yesterday on page 6 that said the REPUBS TRIED TO GET THE DEMS TO VOTE ON IMPEACHING CHENEY BUT THE DEMS WOULDN'T LET IT COME UP FOR A VOTE. IT WAS ON PAGE 6 BUT ON THE FRONT PAGE THERE WAS AN ARTICLE ABOUT A LITTERER. NO LEADERSHIP OR STATESMEN ANYWHERE.

STILL CAN'T POST. I WAS POSTING THE THE LOVELY AND TALENTED ABBY LOU ABOUT THE FAMOUS PAINTERS WHO STARVED AND DIED YOUNG AND NOW THW ART HAS GONE THRU THE ROOF. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO POST HERE UNTIL IT QUITS.

You can so post Spud. You just did. Dunno why it didn't work in the other forum.

I hope people pay lots of money for my art BEFORE I die. If so, dinner's on me and it's kitty food all around for your furry friends.

Slap wonders if you want another kitty. Ours (my daughter's) trashed the house today then sat on his laptop and ruined some of his hard work. Argh!

I HAVE TWO NEWS ONE THAT HAVE BEEN COMING BY TO EAT FOR MONTHS ONCE IN A WHILE BUT NOW ARE HERE TWICE A DAY. LAST SUNDAY MORNING THE WHITE ONE WITH BLACK SPOTS JUST SAT ON THE TABLE AND LET ME PET HIM,USUALLY HE RAN AWAY WHEN I SPOKE TO HIM. NOW HE FOLLOWS ME AROUND. TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH A FERAL CAT TAKES A LONG TIME BECAUSE THEY WATCH YOU. >>>>I HOPE YOU MAKE MANY BUCKS BECAUSE I NEED SOME HELP WITH ALL THE GOUGING SINCE KATRINA IN LA. IT'S HARD TO MAKE IT. I've had problems lately, too, Spud...especially in the earlier morning. The past couple of days I've attempted to post around 7:30 AM or so, and once I submit the post and click the link which says to return to your post or the topic, it says the "post or topic does not exist." ??? Then it made me log in again to try to make another post.

I haven't noticed that problem at other times of the day, however....

Any ideas, Injeun? Maybe they update their databases or something about that time....

I just left the help forum where there are currently about 40 administrators logged in and posting with problems similar to ours. It seems that phpbb are upgrading thier servers again. Something about doubling the capacity and preparing for future demands. At least it is a matter of growth as opposed to neglect. Let's hope it's soon finished.

Hi all! I miss my friends in and around Orlando, and remembered that many of ya'll moved over here from the Sentinel. I don't see many recent postings, though. How is everyone?

Hi Sail. Some went back to the Sentinel. Some just stopped altogether it seems. Misty and I have been posting at the Tallahassee forum. Oddly, fifteen or twenty visits to this forum daily, but no-one logs in. So did your guy win the election? Either way, why not start a topic in current events and see if any visitors log in and respond.
